EU REMOVES 4 NAMES FROM IRAQ SANCTIONS LIST

EU Regulation 2018/1066/EU removed the following names w.e.f. 31st July –

  • IRAQI TOBACCO STATE ESTABLISHMENT (aka IRAQI TOBACCO STATE ENTERPRISE);
  • MOSUL SUGAR STATE COMPANY (aka MOSUL SUGAR STATE ENTERPRISE);
  • STATE ENTERPRISE FOR DAIRY PRODUCTS; and
  • STATE ENTERPRISE FOR VEGETABLE OILS.

This follows the decision of the relevant UN Sanctions Committee on 23rd July.
