Superyacht News on 28th June reported that Fenech and Fenech Advocates has confirmed that the 95 metre, Isle of Man-flagged M/Y Indian Empress has been auctioned in Valleta, Malta, for €43.5 million.  It is reported that the opening bid on the yacht was for €25 million and that the successful bidder now has 7 days to deposit the purchase price in Court.  The boat had owned by, and repossessed from, Indian drinks tycoon, Vijay Mallya, former head of the Formula 1 Force India team.
