25,000 LITRES OF SMUGGLED BEER WITH RETAIL VALUE OF €105,000 SEIZED AT DUBLIN PORT

JOE in Ireland on 27th April reported that the consignment was detained based on routine profiling to identify alcohol products that may be diverted onto the market without payment of the tax due, when it arrived in a foreign registered truck from Holyhead.  Both the beer and the vehicle were seized.
