Laid before the March sitting of the Isle of Man parliament is the Island’s Financial Intelligence Unit’s Strategic Plan 2018-19.  Noted among the key aims are to –

  • Ensure that its staff continue to receive training from recognised experts, including in relation to anti-money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing; and
  • Continue with its programme for increased liaison with industry, including speaking at forums/conferences and meeting with the regulators, industry bodies and industry members, producing relevant statistics and analyses for those bodies.
