On 16th February, Fisher Phillips published a briefing seeking to explain the difference between public and private blockchains. It says that it is easy to see why people get confused as public and private blockchains have many similarities. It also says that (just to confuse one even further) there are 2 other types of blockchain networks being introduced – consortium and semi-private blockchains. The article is thankfully short, and seems clear even to a Luddite like me.
