In the Isle of Man on the 15th February, the Manx Independent newspaper reported that the High Court had granted an injunction to freeze the assets of Aleksandr Vitalyevich Sabadash, a Russian senator found guilty of fraud in March 2015. The injunction was sought by the VTB Bank and included 2 Gulfstream business jets registered on the Isle of Man aircraft register, which were owned by separate Isle of Man companies, owned through a company of which Sabadash was the sole shareholder.
